We love outdoor learning in P6/7. Our topic in Numeracy this term is Area. In groups, we had to measure and make a square metre using natural materials found in our playground. We then had to estimate the area of our football pitch, P1 and P2 playground, our outdoor canopy and our Recobox. Then, we had to accurately find their areas. We had some very close estimates!
